Adoption Search

Adoption Search is a program that attempts to locate a Birthparent, Adoptee or a Sibling.  One doing a Search must be at least 18-years-old. There is a $400 charge.  If the person we search for is not interested in having any contact, then we give the person requesting the Search the information that we did locate the person and they are not interested in any contact. Their identity will not be disclosed.  We will request medical information if we have located a Birthparent.  The $400 charge is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome, even if we were not able to locate the person. To request a Search one must call the agency and request the specific paperwork to do a Search.

Transitional Housing

Catholic Charities operates 14 units (1, 2 and 3 bedroom) of transitional living apartments for individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.  For more information click here.

Catholic Charities also partners with parishes to provide housing for families in homes.  These homes are owned and operated by the parish, with Catholic Charities partnering to provide referrals to the homes and case management services to those residing in the homes.  Families must be actively participating in the Family HOPE program to receive a referral to the parish-based housing programs.
