Social Ministry
Vietnamese
Ministry of Catholic Charities was established in 1996 to meet the
social service needs of the Vietnamese refugees and immigrants in
Oklahoma City and the metropolitan areas, to strengthen the existing
outreach programs in the community and to fill in the gap in
services. The Vietnamese Ministry goals are to assist the parishes
that have significant number of Vietnamese refugees and immigrants in
providing social services and to empower the volunteers at those
parishes with skills and knowledge necessary to assist the Vietnamese
people.
